Install SportsPress for Cricket in your WordPress site to apply cricket-specific terminology, the extras row in scorecards, and DNB handling for substitutes. Confirm the following before activating.

The <code>sportspress-for-cricket.zip</code> file from your ThemeBoy account

- SportsPress 2.3 or newer (free or Pro)
- The <code>sportspress-for-cricket.zip</code> file from your ThemeBoy account

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Upload <code>sportspress-for-cricket.zip</code>.

Click Install Now, then Activate.

1. Confirm SportsPress is active.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload <code>sportspress-for-cricket.zip</code>.
4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

The plugin uses TGM Plugin Activation to verify the SportsPress dependency. If SportsPress is missing or below 2.3, you'll see an admin notice prompting installation.

Go to SportsPress → Configure and confirm cricket-specific result types and performance metrics are loaded (runs, wickets, overs, extras).

Edit an event — confirm the post-type label reads "Match" rather than "Event".

Go to SportsPress → Settings → Events (or the event-logos section) and confirm three new options: Show score status, Results delimiter, Reverse results format.
