Install SportsPress for Basketball in your WordPress site to apply basketball-specific terminology and admin-screen tweaks. Confirm the following before activating.

The <code>sportspress-for-basketball.zip</code> file from your ThemeBoy account

- SportsPress 2.3 or newer (free or Pro)
- The <code>sportspress-for-basketball.zip</code> file from your ThemeBoy account

Confirm SportsPress is active under Plugins.

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Upload <code>sportspress-for-basketball.zip</code>.

Click Install Now, then Activate.

2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload <code>sportspress-for-basketball.zip</code>.
4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

The plugin uses TGM Plugin Activation to verify the SportsPress dependency. If SportsPress is missing or below the minimum version, an admin notice will prompt you to install it before the basketball labels register.

Go to SportsPress → Configure and confirm the option list includes basketball-relevant statistics.

Open the WordPress admin menu — confirm the SportsPress submenu shows "Games" rather than "Events".

Edit a game and confirm the venue dropdown is labelled "Courts".
