Install SportsPress for Ice Hockey in your WordPress site to apply ice-hockey-specific terminology. Confirm the following before activating.

SportsPress 2.6.20 or newer (free or Pro)

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Upload <code>sportspress-for-ice-hockey.zip</code>.

Click Install Now, then Activate.

1. Confirm SportsPress is active.
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Upload <code>sportspress-for-ice-hockey.zip</code>.
4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

The plugin uses TGM Plugin Activation to verify the SportsPress dependency.

Go to SportsPress → Configure and confirm ice-hockey-relevant statistics are available (Goals, Assists, Penalty Minutes, Plus/Minus, Saves, etc.).

Open the WordPress admin menu — confirm the SportsPress submenu shows "Games" rather than "Events".

Edit a game and confirm the venue dropdown reads "Arenas".

1. Go to SportsPress → Configure and confirm ice-hockey-relevant statistics are available (Goals, Assists, Penalty Minutes, Plus/Minus, Saves, etc.).
2. Open the WordPress admin menu — confirm the SportsPress submenu shows "Games" rather than "Events".
3. Edit a game and confirm the venue dropdown reads "Arenas".
