SportsPress for Cricket

Configure SportsPress for cricket with cricket-specific terminology, an extras row in performance footers, "Did Not Bat" handling for substitutes, and customisable result-status output ("won by X runs" / "won by X wickets").

What it does

  • Sets the SportsPress default sport to cricket

  • Remaps admin and frontend labels for cricket conventions (Events → Matches, Offense → Batting, Defense → Bowling, Substitute → Did Not Bat — see Terminology)

  • Adds an extras row to the event performance table footer and includes extras in totals

  • Forces the performance table footer to display via sportspress_event_performance_show_footer

  • Outputs DNB (Did Not Bat) substitutes separately after the main performance table

  • Adds three event-logo options: score-status display, results delimiter, reverse results format

  • Loads js/sportspress-cricket.js and css/sportspress-for-cricket.css on the frontend

Requirements

  • SportsPress 2.3 or newer
