SportsPress Pro is delivered as a ZIP file. After purchasing, a download link is sent to your email and the latest version can be retrieved at any time from your receipt link.

Method 1: WordPress Dashboard Upload (Recommended)

Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.

Click Choose File and select the <code>sportspress-pro.zip</code> file you downloaded.

If prompted, enter your FTP credentials (supplied by your hosting provider).

Click Activate Plugin once installation completes.

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
2. Navigate to Plugins &gt; Add New.
3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the page.
4. Click Choose File and select the <code>sportspress-pro.zip</code> file you downloaded.
5. Click Install Now.
6. If prompted, enter your FTP credentials (supplied by your hosting provider).
7. Click Activate Plugin once installation completes.

Unzip the downloaded <code>sportspress-pro.zip</code> file on your computer.

Use an FTP client to connect to your server.

Upload the <code>sportspress-pro</code> folder to <code>wp-content/plugins/</code> on your server.

In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Plugins &gt; Installed Plugins.

Locate SportsPress Pro in the list.

1. Unzip the downloaded <code>sportspress-pro.zip</code> file on your computer.
2. Use an FTP client to connect to your server.
3. Upload the <code>sportspress-pro</code> folder to <code>wp-content/plugins/</code> on your server.
4. In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to Plugins &gt; Installed Plugins.
5. Locate SportsPress Pro in the list.
6. Click Activate.

Note: This method requires basic FTP knowledge. Back up your site before installation.

Once activated, SportsPress Pro will:

Automatically deactivate the standalone free SportsPress plugin if it is installed.

Add a SportsPress menu item to the WordPress admin sidebar.

Redirect you to the setup wizard (or the welcome screen on subsequent activations).

The next step is to enter your license key so that automatic updates work.

With an active license key configured, SportsPress Pro updates appear in Dashboard &gt; Updates and Plugins &gt; Installed Plugins like any other plugin. If you do not have an active license, download the latest ZIP from your purchase receipt and re-upload via Plugins &gt; Add New &gt; Upload Plugin.
