Managing Sponsors

The Sponsors module is a SportsPress Pro feature. When active, a Sponsors menu item appears in the WordPress admin sidebar with the megaphone dashicon. Navigate there to see the Sponsors list screen.

Columns

The list table displays these columns:

  • Logo — Thumbnail of the sponsor's featured image (the logo). Clicking it opens the edit screen.

  • Sponsor — The sponsor's name (post title). Clicking the name opens the edit screen.

  • Level — The sponsorship level(s) assigned to the sponsor (the sp_level taxonomy terms).

  • URL — The sponsor's website URL, rendered as a clickable link.

  • Impressions — The total number of times this sponsor's logo has been displayed to visitors.

  • Clicks — The total number of times visitors have clicked this sponsor's logo or "Visit Site" button.

The Impressions and Clicks columns are sortable — click the column header to sort.

Filtering by Level

Sponsors are organised by the Levels taxonomy. Use the All levels dropdown filter above the list (a standard WordPress taxonomy filter) to narrow the view to sponsors belonging to a specific sponsorship level.

Bulk Actions

Use the checkbox column to select multiple sponsors, then choose from the Bulk actions dropdown:

  • Edit — Opens the bulk-edit panel.

  • Move to Trash — Deletes the selected sponsors.

The Sponsors post type is registered as a top-level menu item in the WordPress admin sidebar (separate from the SportsPress menu), using the dashicons-megaphone icon. The Levels sub-menu item appears beneath it for managing sponsorship level taxonomy terms.
