Add a SportsPress section to BuddyPress member profiles, link WordPress users to SportsPress player and staff records, and surface team-related activity in the BuddyPress activity stream.

The plugin extends BP_Component to register a SportsPress navigation item on every BuddyPress profile. When a member is linked to a player or staff record, the SportsPress tab shows the events associated with that profile and synchronises the BuddyPress avatar with the SportsPress profile photo.

The plugin also hooks into BuddyPress xprofile saves so that updates flow between the two systems automatically.

Use this extension when your site already runs BuddyPress for community features (member directories, activity streams, groups) and you want member profiles to show their sports identity — events played, team affiliations, performance — without sending visitors to a separate page.
