Branding Settings

Path: SportsPress → Settings → Branding

This feature is part of SportsPress Pro.

Requires the Branding module to be active. Only visible to users with the manage_options capability.

The Branding settings let you white-label the WordPress dashboard so that the SportsPress name, icon, and admin color scheme are replaced with your own.

Branding Options

Label — A custom name to replace "SportsPress" everywhere it appears in the dashboard interface. For example, enter "MyLeague" to rebrand the plugin throughout the admin. Leave blank to keep the default "SportsPress" label. (Default: empty — shows "SportsPress")

Icon — Upload or select an image from the WordPress Media Library to replace the SportsPress icon in the admin sidebar menu. The chosen image also appears on the WordPress login screen in place of the default icon. Click "Select Icon" to open the media picker. An existing icon can be removed with the "Remove Icon" button. (Default: no icon)

Admin Color Scheme — A set of five color pickers that control the WordPress admin color scheme when the "Enable" checkbox is checked. The five color roles are:

  • Base Color — The primary background color for the admin menu and admin bar. (Default: #222222)

  • Highlight — The accent color used for the active menu item, primary buttons, and focused form elements. (Default: #0074a2)

  • Notifications — The color used for notification and update count badges. (Default: #d54e21)

  • Actions — The color used for hovered links and interactive menu items. (Default: #2ea2cc)

  • Text — The color for menu text and icon overlays. (Default: #ffffff)

Enable — Activates the custom admin color scheme. When unchecked, the colors are saved but not applied — the default WordPress admin color scheme is used. (Default: disabled)

Welcome to SportsPress

Controls which link sections appear in the sidebar of the Modules screen under the "Welcome to SportsPress" panel. Each group can be hidden independently to keep the admin area clean when white-labeling.

Documentation — Show or hide the Documentation links group (Getting Started, Manuals, Videos). (Default: shown)

Help — Show or hide the Help links group (Support Forums, Feature Requests, Premium Support). (Default: shown)

Connect — Show or hide the Connect links group (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+). (Default: shown)
