Text Settings

Path: SportsPress → Settings → Text

The Text tab lets you override any of the frontend label strings used throughout SportsPress without editing translation files. Enter a replacement in the input field next to a label; leave it blank to keep the default. Changes apply site-wide immediately after saving.

How it works: Every input has the original string as both its label and its placeholder. Type a replacement value and save. The original string is still used as a fallback if the field is blank. To revert a label, clear the field and save.

Example use case: Change "Team" to "Club" and "Teams" to "Clubs" to match your organization's terminology throughout league tables, event pages, and player profiles.

The following table lists every overridable label. Labels are sorted alphabetically as they appear on the settings screen. Additional labels are added automatically when certain modules are active (see notes below the table).
