Embed a Facebook Page on team pages and add a Facebook Page widget to any widget area. Per-team Page URLs are stored as post meta on each team and can drive both the embedded page section and a "use the team's Page URL" widget mode.
What it does
The plugin adds three things:
A Facebook meta box on the team edit screen for entering each team's Facebook Page URL
A Facebook widget that embeds a Facebook Page in any sidebar or widget area
A frontend script that loads the official Facebook Page Plugin SDK so embeds render with native Facebook styling
Conditional load
The plugin only initialises when the sportspress_load_facebook_module option is set. This is enabled automatically by SportsPress Pro and the ThemeBoy themes; if you're using the standalone free SportsPress plugin you may need to enable it manually (see the Settings and configuration article).
When to use it
Use the Facebook extension when teams have active Facebook Pages and you want to surface their posts, events, or messages on the team's page or in a sitewide sidebar.
